Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. G2 Media provides the following warranty in relation to its Products. 
The benefits of this warranty are in addition to any rights and remedies imposed by Australian State and Federal legislation that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this warranty is to be interpreted as excluding, restricting or modifying any State or Federal legislation applicable to the supply of goods and services which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

Standard Manufacturer Warranty

Subject to the terms and conditions below, G2 Media warrants that the Product will be replaced or repaired, if defects have occurred in the Product during the Standard Manufacturer Warranty period of 12 months.  

This warranty covers product purchased from our registered Dealers.

This warranty covers the original purchaser only and it is not transferrable if the Product is sold by the original purchaser.

If a defect covered by the warranty appears, G2 Media will, in its sole discretion, either:
a)    repair or replace the Product or the defect part of the Product free of charge; or
b)    cause the Product or the defective part of the Product to be replaced or repaired by an authorized repair agent.

If the Product is capable of retaining user-generated data, repair of the Product may result in the loss of the data.  User-generated data means any data stored on goods.G2 Media reserves the right to replace the Product or defective parts of the Product with a product or parts and components of similar or better quality, specification, grade and composition where an identical product or component is not available.  Products presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the Product.

Exclusions

The Standard Manufacturer Warranty will not apply where:
(a)     the defect in Product has arisen due to the purchaser’s failure to properly install, use and maintain the Product in accordance with G2 Media instruction, recommendation and specifications;
(b)    the Product has been used other than for the purpose for which it was designed;
(c)    The defect has arisen due to, misuse, neglect, accident or abuse;
(d)    the alleged defect is within acceptable industry variances;
(e)    the Product has been repaired, altered or modified which are not authorised by G2 Media or an authorised repair agent;
(f)    the serial number on the Product has been removed or altered;
(g)    the Product has not been registered;
(h)    verification of the serial number or original proof of purchase cannot be produced;
(i)    G2 Media or its authorised repair agent cannot establish any fault in the Product after testing.
(j)    there has been unauthorized access to internal components of the Product; or
(k)    the Product has been subject to abnormal conditions, including environment, temperature, water, fire, humidity, pressure, stress or similar.

The Standard Warranty does not extend to:
(a)    physical damage;
(b)    the defects caused by or resulting from causes not attributable to faulty parts or the manufacture of the Product, including but not limited to, defect caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, accidental damage, improper voltage, liquid spillage, vermin infestation, software, or any alterations made to the Product which are not authorised by G2 Media our authorised agents;
Other terms and conditions

On Public Holidays, or other periods where regular business and wholesale operations are temporarily unavailable, response times may extend beyond the standard response times.  Neither G2 Media nor its representatives provide loan equipment under the terms of the Express Warranty.  Repairs or services required that are outside these terms of Standard Warranty may require a credit card payment prior to commencement of such services.  You must register your Product online and retain your proof of purchase, as these documents will be required to validate a warranty claim.

Limitations

G2 Media makes no express warranties or representations other than set out in the Express Warranty.

Warranty Claims Procedure

Before Lodging a Claim, please ensure you have understood the terms and conditions of the Standard Warranty, and:
•    Check to ensure that the installations of all power cables to the power points are secure and that the power is turned on.
•    Check all cables leads and connectors are connected properly and that all switches are turned on and functioning.
•    Check that all settings are set according to the instruction manual.
•    Obtain your proof of purchase

If testing finds no defect in the Product, you will be charged a No Fault Fee of $150.00 to cover the costs of service work and testing.
